Camera & Image Processing
FridgeAI requests camera access to photograph your ingredients. Images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for real-time analysis to generate recipe suggestions. Images are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers permanently. You can save recipes to Favorites, which stores recipe text only — not the original image.
Local Storage
FridgeAI stores your saved recipes and preferences locally on your device using AsyncStorage. This data stays on your device and is not synced to external servers unless explicitly stated.
