Camera & Photos
Apps like FridgeAI request camera access solely to enable their core feature (e.g., photographing ingredients). Images are sent to our AI provider for processing and are not stored permanently on our servers unless you explicitly save them.

We use collected information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our apps and services
- Personalize your in-app experience
- Process subscriptions and in-app purchases
- Send essential service notifications (not marketing without your consent)

3. AI Processing
Several of our apps use artificial intelligence powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use AI features:
- Your input (text or images) is sent to Anthropic's API for processing
- Anthropic processes this data per their own Privacy Policy
- We do not use your inputs to train AI models
- AI responses are generated in real time and not stored indefinitely

We share data only with trusted service providers necessary to operate our apps:

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.

Your data is stored using industry-standard security practices. Local data is stored on your device using AsyncStorage. We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt-out — disable analytics collection in app settings where available
- Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format

Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly within each app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
7. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
8. Subscriptions & Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We receive only transaction confirmations — never your payment details. Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is handled through your device's App Store or Play Store account settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through in-app notifications. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
